I’m currently trying to DK a new ENS document as it’s required from 31/01.. Customer asked me to collect an urgent job on Friday from Belgium - to complete my EnS I need the customs Dec plus I need to know the time I’m going to cross .. problem is I don’t So I can’t actually do anything .Shitshow

This happens this Friday . ALL freight coming into the U.K. needs a SSD .. could explain the shit show this evening at sevington . Brexit just got harder for imports

So This evening I have (had) two jobs going to Paris But now I only have one … because I’m not going to spend 12 hours + waiting to get into a customs facility to have a carnet stamped . Rang customer and said get a van to take it off my van as I won’t be taking it ! So now I have one ..

After a brief ( ish ) time out I’m back with some brexit pictures .. This is the queue to get into sevington customs facility .. Chances are you’ll be there ALL NIGHT …

I guess this is what happens when It becomes too expensive to import the real thing because of Brexit tariffs - or maybe just exploiting those lower food standards in pursuit of profit - because of Brexit
