Today I learned that "coifed" has a synonym! "Quaffed", which means to drink heartily. Unfortunately, the author who used it meant to use the former word, unless someone is doing something veeeeery weird with their hair... Still, cool learning experience!

The great thing about recording an anthology is you can actually choose to record chapters out of order! This is especially helpful if you are short on recording time one particular day, so you can skip ahead to the shorter chapter and come back to the long one the next day.

The fact that there have been MULTIPLE people who ask me what audiobooks are when I say that's what I make is kind of astounding to me? Like, I get wondering what my ROLE in making them is. But to ask what they ARE? My friend. Audio. Book. The audio version of the book. It's in the name. 🤔

I've tried four different times now across several days to upload picture replies to my Japan trip thread, and each time, it acts like it did, but the reply never appears. Whyyyy...😭😭😭

I'm so proud of myself - after 1291 days of maintaining my #Duolingo streak, I have finally worked up the strength to walk away. Ever since their tree to path update, it's felt like a chore instead of a game for me to do it. Yet it's hard for me to stop a serious commitment. But today! I did it!

So I've been doing Wordle for a couple years now, and making my own list of used words so I know what not to re-guess. However, twice now I wasn't careful when inputting the daily word and put the wrong thing, which got me in trouble when those words became recent solutions. (cont)

I've begun prepping my next project and in chapter 1, a girl is described as petite, and in a other chapter has a "tiny frame" capable of hiding under a desk...but just now, her height is listed as 5'11 (180 cm) and I gotta say, that feels a little incongruous

There's a funny outtake I have where speaking a character yawning made me, the narrator yawn. Now editing book 2, the same character yawns again, and me being already tired and wishing for a nap, I now can't stop yawning either! What is this secret power this character has!?
