Have officially handed down one of my Loungefly purses to Kiddo. I am now sporting a Nightmare Before Christmas Sally purse and I am curious to see if my healthcare providers notices.

I re-upped Disney+ for my daughter and she didn't watch it (can't blame her now that the den is dismantled) so I'm watching Ahsoka to try to get my money's worth before the subscription expires but so far the show is just aggressively okay.

Missed the best opportunity to go practice with my new travel-friendly wheelchair yesterday because neither I nor spouse slept well and now I have work things to do and it’s raining and nasty outside. Boo!

Finished and turned in the poster. I don’t think I ever want to do that again. It was supposed to be a roundtable when I proposed it. 😩

One more section to fill in on this poster and then I can sit on it for a few hours and review it and then figure out how to submit it.

Woke up feeling not great but I think it was just dehydration because I’m already feeling better with some water. Hopefully I can get this infographic/poster done today and get that stress off my plate.

Thanks to that post I finished the book I was reading. It wasn’t a hard read but I’ve been having so much trouble focusing, I’m pleased how fast I read it anyway.

I am … almost? Finished this thing for this conference. I hate it. I hate myself. I had to take a break. Nothing will cheer me up. I’ve been crying all day.

I am feeling so incredibly useless. I drove my spouse away, they want nothing to do with me today. I hate all of this.

I really need to finish this infographic/poster/whatever for this conference today because I still feel sick and could end up feeling worse but the contractors are finally coming back so I probably will not get my nap. Ugh.

TMI I think my period came back after a year so I am taking a sick day today to monitor that shit because if it’s not my period then it’ll be an ER visit.

I can’t find anything to do that will keep my attention. I think it’s the shitty sleep I’ve been getting, but maybe it’s depression. Or anxiety.

I am really cranky today and I still have 40 minutes of reference desk time left.

Was not thinking about having to sit upright for three hours today when I scheduled yesterday's surgery. Wasn't thinking about a lot of things, really, other than "oh shit I am scheduling this late." FML

Also thank fucking god the contractors finally got my second check cashed. I’m going to have to hand them the last one. Mailing it across town took a week!

Been up most of the night with a stomach ache and I have reference desk duty for three hours this afternoon. This sucks.

I’m so tired but my brain won’t shut up.

After some hiccups I am finally eating a meal. I really just want to sleep though 😭

Back from my minor surgery, lost a whole half day of work, and all I’ve eaten today is a small pack of shortbread cookies. RAWR!!!!

Surgery running severely late. I always lose half the day to this even though the procedure takes 10 minutes.

5:30 and I’m awake. This is unacceptable. Going to have to try to snuggle back in bed and fall back asleep!

I feel miserable and I have a very minor surgery tomorrow but I can’t eat from after midnight until it’s done so I’m having a root beer float and god I hope it helps my mood.

I just realized my kid has off school Friday and Monday and that’s why they’re doing the Valentine’s exchange on Thursday 🤦🏻‍♀️ Was I already so sick I didn’t realize she had a 4 day weekend for President’s Day last year or are they out to make me feel crazy???

Getting mildly stressed out because this committee that used to be totally virtual now keeps sending in person meeting requests and I have to keep declining them.

So I knew it was supposed to finally get above freezing today. I was not aware it was going to be 45 degrees!

Buying Kiddo a present for a big milestone and I think I found one of the retired American Girl Spacesuits (Luciana Vega, GOTY 2018). Just waiting until Kiddo gets home to confirm that’s what she wants. If I hadn’t been laid off in 2018 she would already own it (she was 3 but already a space nerd.)
