toki pona is so overrated, discourse about it annoys me a lot. As someone who is not american I never understood it being "multi-cultural", since most words are from anglo and latin origins. It also is completely impractical to communicate with it and the strict grammar and word count holds it back.

updates on the game I was working on months ago, visuals are now based on parameters. Out with the textured walls, now we calculate walls based on erosion, biome borders are also being removed, we got grass and soon I'll work on more vegetation #gamedev #pixelart

I need a little break from programming.. been very productive lately, and am very proud of how much better I've gotten, really feel more in control and that I sorta know what I'm doing! But at the same time, it feels like stuff is moving too fast, so time to relax a bit and get back to drawing ^^

Quick update from the factory game project! Made a lot of progress, including a new terrain generation system, starting working on the ore system, instead of ores being defined as discrete ores, I'm starting to work on a "gradient-based" system that defines the properties of the soil.. pretty fun!
