Finally! The first draft of "Noire", book number 8 in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, is completed!

"Noire", the eighth book in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series, is finally close to completion! Now at 325 pages, and only three chapters to go!

As usual, apologies for it being so long between posts here. The good news is that "Round Two" (alias Part Two) of "Noire" is complete! You can see a list of the chapter titles in the attached screenshot.

It's been a long time since I've talked about how the Modesty Blaise series of book influenced my Henriette Spolansky books. I've been a huge fan of the Modesty Blaise books right from the start, so when I decided to try my hand at writing a book, several things were obvious:

Things are beginning to fall into place, and "Noire", the next book in the exciting Henriette Spolansky series, is now up to 195 pages. This is presumably more than 50% of the finished book, so progress is being made, although slowly.

As usual, sorry about my lack of posting ... It's still going very slowly with my writing of "Noire", book number eight in the awesome Henriette Spolansky series. Current status is that "Round One" is done, and the book is at about 155 pages.

I'm back home in Denmark now, slaving away on writing "Noire", after my 4-week road trip to Bulgaria. I had one funny experience on the way home. While waiting in Rostock Harbor for the ferry to Denmark, I wandered around and discovered approx. 600 newly-manufactured Tesla cars parked there!

Being an author who likes to claim that his books, despite being fictional thrillers, are authoritative and contain accurate information, is hard work.

Sorry for the lack of posting ... The good news is that I've now written 46 pages of "Noire", the next book in the Henriette Spolansky series. The bad news is that my writing is going very slowly. At this rate it may be half a year before "Noire" is finished. I'll try to increase my output.

Good news! I've actually started writing "Noire", the next book in the Henriette Spolansky series! So hopefully in 3 or 4 months I can announce that it's completed. Then comes proofreading, etc., and then publication.

Good news! I've finally started planning "Noire", book number 8 in the fantastic Henriette Spolansky series! And I can reveal that Felix Noire, the top bad guy in "Noire", is based somewhat on Elon Musk. Like Musk, Noire is fabulously wealthy, and has lots of children with several different wives.

As usual, I must apologize for my lack of posting here. But I do have one excuse: I've been off traveling, visiting Morocco once again. (As all my faithful readers know, Morocco has been featured in several of my books, especially "Wasp".)

There's recently been a lot of talk, especially here in Denmark, about Trump wanting to "acquire" Greenland. This is actually something Trump tried before, and was talked about in my book "Twist", from back in 2021. Here's a direct quote, from a scene where Henriette is being interviewed:

I like to claim that my books are topical and contain references to authentic locations and entities and persons, although in a fictional context.

It turns out that Google Ads demands that I first create a web site in order to market my books with them. A link to my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Rennie.Peter...) would be considered to be an indirection promotion of Facebook - not allowed by Google Ads!

I'm considering trying to use Google Ads to promote my career as a wannabe author. Here's my first attempt at a mock-up for an ad. The underlined text should link to www.facebook.com/Rennie.Peter... Does anyone have any comments, or experience with Google Ads? Thanks.

"Darth" is done! Finally, after many delays, I've been able read all of "Darth" to my two fantastic muses, and I've fixed a couple of (small) problems they identified. So, what are you waiting for? The perfect Christmas gift for yourself, and for friends! Enemies too!

I find that posting very self-confirming as it specifies "3x frigates (2x Gorshkov class | 1x Grigorovich class)". Here's what it says in my "Author's preface" for "Darth": In other words, “Nice Admiral Gorshkov-class frigate you have there, Mr. Putin. Be a shame if something happened to it …”

Before I started writing "Darth", I had never even heard of Tartus, and was totally unaware that Russia had warships stationed in the Mediterranean. Now the Russian Navy presence in Tartus is suddenly in the news! bsky.app/.../mtanders...
