The #demoscene always fascinated me growing up in the 80s & 90s when I had a C64 & Amiga. I wasn't allowed a modem, so only saw disks that people swapped in the playground. It'd have been wonderful to have had a mentor in my teens for this stuff. The internet has made those connections easier :)
