On this indigenous peoples day, I’m thinking of the Lenape tribe. Three hundred years ago my ancestors immigrated to eastern Pennsylvania, a place that had been inhabited by the Lenape. The immigrants called the Lenape the “Original People”. This map shows the territories in Pennsylvania.
