Wow! Big meeting today. Apparently squirrels all over are playing “that wheel can’t get me”. Wise Crow sees it from on high. Abbey the Bunny, Catty, Protector Cat and Big Strong Buck had a meeting along with Wise Crow. Time to tell Squirrely and all squirrels to knock it off. Successful? TBD!

Squirrely and friends were celebrating some warmer weather for today. I heard “Good Morning Starshine” by Oliver. Definitely partying somewhere. Also heard them imitating Alvin and the Chipmonks. Seems to be in a good mood.

Wise Crow told Protector Cat to tell the Two Legs to visit Duluth. We did. Catty came by with the deer and asked our experience. Wise Crow had told Catty Lake Superior is huge. So true. Catty is sort of seen here with the deer.

The deer and Catty arrived. Catty and the ducks worked out a deal (see earlier) & are happy. Squirrely not so much. Wise Crow and Protector Cat say nothing is perfect. Abbey the Bunny admitted Squirrely told her about stuff on the internet. More conversations are upcoming.

Ducks! Wise Crow contacted the ducks after a discussion with Protector Cat. Known as the ones who understand the greater good. Or as the ducks say “The greater good!” A whole flock! They flew off at the first sign of a camera. Reported to have said “Wabbit Season” (joke) to Abbey the Rabbit.

Day 1 of Protector Cat and Nursey Cats agreements. Catty and the herd cam by at dusk. As per agreement.

Saw Wise Crow in a tree. Apparently talking (loudly) to Protector Cat. Deal worked out!!! Trail times scheduled. Feeder times resolved!!! I asked Abbey the bunny to interpret. Abbey told me to ask BOTH Protector Cat and. Nursey Cat. Oh and Squirrely did not win the how much did two legged eat.

Wise Crow and Squirrely were talking. (Disc translated by Abbey the Bunny). Wise Crow—Weather is getting warmer. Protector Cat let it be known that this cat-deer alliance and squirrel fight needs to end. Catty (yes Catty) agrees. Let’s talk. I’ll tell Protector Cat.

The cat-deer alliance. 10 (ten) deer and one cat running around. The deer told me that Catty is their muscle. Catty said nothing. Turns out it’s not just nuts but also the critter trail. All of them argue over the trail. So land and food. There is a truce now due to cold weather.

Update. Protector cat has been in communications with others. The most recent (sorry no photo as “undercover”) is a bunny. Specifically Abbey the bunny. Abbey is not this beings real name. Also known as Maštéča ptéčela. Per Protector cat. All 4 legged types are at peace. The cold does that.

Squirrely—hi. It’s really cold and windy. You two legged types hide in warm houses. I’ve got a warm place to hide. Me—Stay warm. Is there any food I can leave for you?

Fresh snow. Bright sunshine. The world is good. The weather has positively affected the relationships between the cat- deer alliance, Squirrely and friends as well as Wise Cow and the murder of crows. Fun!

Me—What’s up Squirrely Squirrely—Think rain. Might be slippery for you two legged types Me—True. Are we talking in a peaceful way? Squirrely—Yup. We squirrels have a pool. So. How many acorns do you eat for this type of winter. Me—grrr Squirrely—hold on there Fido.

Update. Protector cat had a “cat to cat” talk with Catty. Happened almost immediately after Protector cat had a discussion with Wise Crow. And shortly after Nursey cat and Squirrely had a discussion. Need the deer involved.

Interesting. It’s cold and bright outside. I have 2 cats. I was in the basement and Squirrely and one of my cats (Nursey Cat) had a conversation. They were inches apart separated by a pane of glass. Nursey may be acting as a mediator in the current cat - deer alliance dispute with Squirrely.

I counted a herd of 12 deer. Numerous squirrels in the trees. Crows abundant. Cat. One.

So Squirrely saw my last post. How??? Squirrely claims I ratted him out. How? I referred to Squirrely as a male. Catty (alias name) saw it. Was able to limit the possibilities to male squirrels. How do cats and squirrels have internet and able to read?

I saw Squirrely. Squirrely is in his form of “witness protection.” Why? Apparently he “ratted out” the cats name in the deer cat alliance to the crows. Squirrely is in hiding. The cat known by other squirrels at “Catty” is looking for Squirrely.

Squirrely is upset!! The deer are eating nuts for the squirrels! Wise crow said the nuts are for birds. “Bird feeders.” Squirrely blames the cat deer alliance. Time will tell.

Squirrely—I put on some weight. Think this will be a cold one. I looked at the Farmers thingy Me—thought you can’t read Squirrely—oops

Squirrely told me there was a cat deer alliance. Just now, a cat led a deer down my driveway. Squirrely says the cat has a name but is sworn to secrecy. Wise crow affirms. ….

….. Per Squirrely the cat is helping the deer find stuff. Not sure what stuff means but there ya go. They (cat and deer) actually walked side by side.
