Long pile of rocks reaching out into the ocean. I suppose it qualifies as a jetty. Locals call this place "Wash Away Beach". Several miles of shoreline has been reclaimed by the ocean in past years taking homes and roads will it. Even a cemetery.

Seagulls are cool and so many species. This photo was taken in Raymond.

This is the Triangulum Galaxy is a Spiral Galaxy taken with 18mm Canon lens. It's half the size of the Milky Way and is also known as Messier 33. Approximately 2.7 to 3 million light years from earth. So much unknown in space yet so many names for one object makes it confusing.

There is a 5 fish limit at Borst Lake for fish. I wonder if that pertains to seagulls as well?

These two cow elk are from the first herd Jan and I saw yesterday. No good photos from the 2nd herd. They were too far away and too much haze for a clear shot.

Messier is a Nebula in the Orion Constellation. A French scientist, Jean-Jacqes d'Ortous, discovered it in 1731. You might think with his technology verses ours that I might have gotten a better photo with a 500mm lenses.

The last time I ran this through "google lens" I was told this was a sycamore tree. Because AI can't seem to tell then it must not be as smart as people think, actually it's very stupid accept in areas the programmer was familiar.

This is a Spike Bull Roosevelt Elk. Very beautiful animal. Caught him in a ranchers hay field standing among a small herd.

This is a Ranch House near my home. I think he also has a silo not in frame. I like the overcast sky that makes the phots look better.

Seagulls are beautiful when taken time to look at the closely. Scavengers they are.

Occasionally I enjoy a black and white photo. It takes me back inn time to where my roots in photography first started.

Very common to see seagulls flying here and trying to get scraps from parking lots.
