Update: mom’s doing a bit better. She had a non-aneurysm stroke and they did not have to do surgery. The vein has scabbed and she’s healing. But she’s also got diabetes now despite being a frail little thing and it not being genetic. Always something.

I may not be in stream tomorrow or the next day. Maybe I will in an attempt to lift my spirits. My mom just had a stroke. CT scans reveal she has bleeding on the brain, so they’re flying her to OHSU for surgery.
