This is the third year after sowing my asparagus. The root should now be strong enough to start harvesting this year. The first spears are already showing.

I'm helping a farmer who is breeding a new chicken breed. he gave me the eggs and I raise the chicks. Then he can cherry pick the ones he wants to cross breed with after a few months.

Spring is finally nearing. That means garden work. We upgraded some of the beds with wooden planks and tile walkways. Garlic went in the ground and the first crops are growing in the greenhouse.

Got myself a new toy. I want to use hand tools more, but I admit I suck at free hand sharpening. And working with blunt chisels and planes just bothers me. Now I can finally treat my hand tools right.

The plant kingdom expands.
