The verse that got us through the worst time of our life: And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you (1 Peter 5:10). Our favorite word in there: “himself.”

Isn’t this delightful?

“Jesus said, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight’” (John 18:36). It takes divine courage to serve Jesus without stooping to worldly militancy. Real Christian men serve Him by humbly walking His path of peace. You think that’s weak? Try it.
