I attended a Creeley symposium last night with two of my children. This morning I reflected on the experience & was looking for a Creeley poem & came across an old composition notebook. Hull's book came in the mail. Healy wrote a nice poem about her in one of her anthologies. Many years ago I had to do a class presentation on a poet (I chose Hart Crane) ? Anyway, Hull loved Crane's work & while reading one of her poems, I was reminded of Crane. & it was through one word that flowed

I went to the movie theater with my son to see Kubrick's, Barry Lyndon. I saw the film when it first came out, & I ended up buying the soundtrack shortly afterward. Today was a good experience to be able to sit in a movie theater for three hours with an adult son and enjoy a classic. Thanks Kubrick

and so, I was thinking of writing a poem a day because all I've been writing lately are my journal entries. I have a stack of things I call poems and I plucked out a random few. This one made me wonder where my head was that morning. They all need edits more than likely, but they all seem like fun.
