The hospital ship thing is so stupid. It takes at least a day to get underway with emergency orders. Then it’s days or weeks to get where you’re going. Mercy goes 20 mph at flank speed, it would take another 8 days to get there. Dude would not wait that long. They’re all just so stupid.

The save act might backfire on them as well. Lower income populations in America are more likely to not have passports. Lower income white people is the base of MAGA. There is a good change a lot of them will be disenfranchised by this legislation. Just speculation, but not unreasonable.
