Organic social requires a certain amount of runway to develop strategy, test, allow algoriths to learn your content and ideal audience, and bring back enough data to fine tune your approach. You can’t just post a couple gameplay videos of your game and decide “this doesn’t work” #gamedev

A tight budget usually means you're relying on organic marketing channels to promo your game. Organic channels take time to connect with players in your niche. You can ramp up closer to launch, but you should be doing SOMETHING for marketing at least 6-12 months out. #gamedev #indiedev

If you're partnering with content creators on a small budget, you'd do better finding 1 or 2 that REALLY align with your game's audience and doing a full campaign rather than spreading your budget thin on a bunch for 1 post. Especially on short form video platforms. #indiedev #gamedev
