In our Friday grief group this morning, two of our regular attenders looked at each other and started to laugh as we were going around the table and giving updates. Turns out they went to a "singles mixer" at a local winery on Valentine's Day and had a blast.

Officiated a graveside service this morning. The brother came up to me after and told me he just lost his wife on January first. I told him I was sorry, and he said, "No need for sorry. I had her 60 years. Promises made, promises kept." And he wiped a tear from his eye. (Me too.) #grateful 💕

I love this about life. One of my coworkers has a son who is a shining star in middle school show choir. They will be spending their Valentine's Day at a huge regional meet in a nearby city.

Sitting at a light at a busy intersection. Rush hour. Lots of honking! Couldn't see what it was about. Light turned green, saw 40+ people with signs on the corner: "Republicans own this, ALL of it!" And "Believe your eyes!!" And dozens more. A symphony of honks in support. In central Indiana. HOPE.

This is my grandkitty Maeby. She's been here with my granddaughter for winter break but heads home to Toronto tomorrow. She is a very happy girl and has been through a lot.
