Just had my mind blown. It has been as long between the Simpsons Movie and today as between the start of the show and the Simpsons Movie (18 years).

Reading Fuyumi Souryo's manga ”Cesare” (two volumes in as of now). The subject matter is a little dry perhaps (scheming nobles and cardinals in renaissance Italy), but the writing is sharp and the art is fantastic. I'm amazed that this is the same creator who made ”Mars”.

You learn a lot as you age, so it's mostly a good thing. But lately I've felt strongly that I'm… not young. I'm tired all the time, my tastes have changed, culture seems off somehow, and whatever young people are doing goes completely over my head. How can something so natural feel so bizarre?

Saw K-pop Demon Hunters. Went in blind, didn't even know if it was a movie or a show. I wasn't over the moon with the actual K-pop most of the time, but it was pretty good actually! It counteracted the less good parts with little sprinkles of charm. It's basically a magical girl story 🙂

Got myself a SidecarTridge for my old Atari STe. It can load games from a server via WiFi! That's crazy doing that from a computer from the eighties. Feels like conjuring up games from nowhere!

When it comes to mousepads, ”manga” means ”boobies” apparently. I feel so naive now. I genuinely was looking for a mousepad with a manga motive. Not boobs, not furries, not anime girls. Manga.

This is still one of tve nicest looking computers ever. Picked it up at a flea market cirka 2011 for almost nothing, upgraded the ram and hard drive and it was flying. Now it can't do anything anymore, despite it still working flawlessly. Stupid tech world.

Wow, Haibane Renmei really is sooo good. It was nice watching it again after so many years, since I had forgotten pretty much everything except the premise and the ending.
