Finally sat down to watch Mulholland Drive for the first time. Holy… shit… “This is the girl.” The fact that Naomi Watts wasn’t considered by the Academy at the time is blasphemous. Peter Deming’s cinematography and David Lynch’s mastery of his own view of reality are mind-boggling in a good way!

The more I reexperience Hollow Knight: Silksong for 100% completion, the more observant I become of its design, the leitmotif, etc. Maybe I was too harsh at first. The more I look back at it, the more I believe that it may eventually surpass Metroid Prime as my favorite game of all time.

Aside from searching how to reach the third act, I managed to avoid most if all spoilers for Hollow Knight: Silksong. There are design elements that I don't agree with... but I respect what Team Cherry accomplished. I can now look at theory videos and enjoy people's struggle over the game. GOTY!

It needs to be seen, it needs to be said! This fight almost made me quit my 100% run. I genuinely RESPECT what Team Cherry has done with Silksong BUT... I don't think THIS is something that will be done by most players. There are times where it feels like the game is completely against its player.

Faust? Elphelt? Leo? In the Bronze tier between 2-3 during Placement. Unika? Silver 2! There's something in here...

Oh yeah, since I didn’t explain… The simple integration of an open-world portion may have a great effect on how disconnected each major section of Metroid Prime 4 could be, more so than Metroid Prime 3. Six years since they restarted from scratch… and this is what they came up with.
