What I'm listening to: @there.pvd 's record has been on heavy rotation this year. I saw them before it came out and it captures their live show wonderfully. It takes you to different places and all of them are fascinating and alien. Soundscapes for days but still just well written songs.

My #amywinehouse / #hairsalon painting was a pretty colorful one. That mint green / bright red is one of my favorite pushes / pulls between colors.

#beetlejuice / #buffalobill could have been a colorless painting but I'm really happy with how much color I was able to inject into pale skin and tan quilt.

I got really colorful here in #ramdas / #vwwagon painting. The chakras are opening and the third eye was really flowing.

I love regional food and I get to try a lot of bites on my travels with two thangs. This is the legendary Italian Beef out of Chicago (and also a sausage, bet you can't guess which is which). It's kind of a hybrid French Dip with its own flair. Definitely grab one if you're in the area. Worth it

I feel like this #cats / #fightclub was also a weird one mostly because of the Robert Pawson in the background but also because of the details I was able to hide in the painting frame.

My next new painting is a weird one so I'm going to be sharing some of the weirdest paintings I've made. This Thelma & Louise / Shrooms definitely ranks up there. I feel like I captured that moment when it hits you.

What I'm listening to: It's a new album from @Overcalc. I've never known how to describe them but it's just such a fun bastardization of electronic music and live guitar. It feels like a lost timeline and this new album really pushes the diversity of song they're coming up with. Very worth a grab!
