Worth an early walk from home to Radford Meadows Stafford, little gull is a site record for me. Also c300 lapwing, similar numbers of teal and wigeon. 9 pintail and c100 shoveler.

Trouble with jackdaws. 2 of the 5 owl boxes cleared at Sherratts Wood Scout campsite contained abandoned tawny owl eggs. The jackdaws sit on top of the boxes and throw sticks onto the owl till it abandons. Other boxes taken over by squirrels. Better luck next year🤞
