This past week I have been on edge every day… growing more angry with the free pass the media is giving Trump and his regime. I see the some portion of the population becoming numb to the daily onslaught of authoritarian acts by Trump. This is what he is counting on! DO NOT LET YOURSELF BECOME NUMB!

In the midst of the current constitutional crisis in DC (and our country) I made myself go out to my happy place- my gardens. This is my veggie garden- giving me lots of produce.

On DC: This is now the second city Trump is using threats of military action and visibility to “take back our streets”. In reality it’s a continuation of desensitizing the American people to a daily presence of military on our streets. This is the continuation of the not so slow roll towards Facism.

My brother visited last week. I introduced him to the HBO show “Hacks.” In episode 9, season 4-“Slippery Slope” Deb Vance tells her audience she’s giving up the show because of corporate censorship-she asked “where’s the line.” Colbert’s commentary? Trump’s behavior? Where’s the line America?

So Trump’s purge of the military ranks continue with the removal of Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield at NATO. Between openly defying the courts and slowly purging the upper ranks of the military the pace toward authoritarianism is quickening.
