I took yesterday off (use it or loose it PTO) and this morning I'm pretty sure my entire body is rebelling against this commute into work: Tachycardia. Nausea. Shortness of breath. Fatigue and micro sleeps. My right ankle gave out as I climbed onto the trolley causing me to fall into the driver.

So this past Saturday I had a severe (contemplating going to the ER severe) MCAS* flare. And now I have an appointment with Allergy & Immunology tomorrow morning. Trying not to panic?? (*Not officially diagnosed, but 3 providers familiar enough to suspect but not diagnose all agree it's MCAS)

Okay, fellow dysautonomia/POTSie folk: I am in a flare like I've never been in since knowing I had dysautonomia, and my routines are lacking. What are some things you do in the morning to deal with worsened and destabilized symptoms?

The rescue med that's supposed to help me feel a bit better... Helped me feel a bit better. 🤔 I will, of course, learn nothing from this and try everything else first before taking the rescue.
