I love video games. Although mindfulness will always be the method that keeps me calm; video games are a deposit to my mental health bank. I’m so grateful to experience the stories they tell, the journeys they take me on & the environments I get to explore. I’ve needed them, now more than ever.

Some people may hesitate to talk about their past. Maybe they’ve had a painful experience & bringing it up is traumatic. If someone tells you ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ - honor that space. Maybe they will trust you more later, but for now, respect their boundaries of privacy.

There will always be someone that wants to provoke & insult. They feed on controversy. It’s a toxic trap, don’t take the bait. Value your worth & how you spend your time. It’s ok to ignore toxicity. It’s ok to mute & block. It’s ok to walk away. Protect your peace.

Sometimes, you’ll make tough choices that temporarily impact those in your trust circle in a negative way. Even though you’re able to see the reasoning behind the decision, they may struggle with acceptance. Listen with patience, and explain with clarity. Effective communication is a superpower.
