#WinningEleven 10 dropped 20 years ago yesterday. Even today, I can still remember the excitement in the days and weeks leading up to each release of the series on the PS2. ⚽️ games haven't reached those heights since.

A myriad of reasons why I love the #JLeague. One of those reasons being the fans and their knowledge of the game. Osako's comments posted via Twitter and the J. Football Now account were met with both objection and disapproval from the online community 👏🏻

The #OsakaDerby has just kicked off in MW10 of the #JLeague. The biggest victory in this fixture was back in 2004 when #GambaOsaka destroyed Cerezo 7-1.

I received this jersey from a fellow fan when #GambaOsaka played here back in November 🇭🇰 Wanted to post it on the day of an important match, so figured today's pretty good. Hopefully a win this evening and a step closer to winning our first 🏆 since Panasonic stadium was opened (10 years ago!)

#GambaOsaka face #Vissel in a couple of hours. As well as being a Kansai derby, it's a fixture which has given us an unusual nickname. The Kobe Killer. The moniker was given to Takashi Usami for his scoring record against Vissel.

A member of the Original Ten, it's great to have JEF United back in J1 this year. JEF's return reminds me of this Yatto golazo from 2009. Yatto deceives the GK by curling the ball around JEF's wall. With it being so low and accurate, Okamoto just can't get to the ball in time.

I've seen a few posts on X this week about Gamba vs. Man Utd back in 2008. So much to love about that game; Endo's korokoro PK, CR7 in a Gamba jersey, and the attacking game played by Nishino's team. Remember peeps back home being a lot more inquisitive about the J.League shortly after that match.

Nakata Hidetoshi's birthday today. It was Nakata at the '98 World Cup which got me hooked on the Japanese game. As well as being very cool on the ball, he was very sophisticated and elegant off the pitch. Even today, I try and copy his hairstyles.

Whereas the majority of designers played it safe for the J.League's 100YVL, Mizuno were a lot more adventurous with Grampus' (H) uniform. Hope to see more creativity when the new season starts in August.

No question about it; highlight of 2025 was having #GambaOsaka play here in Hong Kong and being able to meet the staff and fans. Watching a Grampus game at Toyota back in the spring was also pretty cool. Here's to a fantastic 2026 🍻

Was amazing to have the team I support play in the city which I've called home for almost 20 years. Of course, winning's great, but the highlight of the evening was being among fellow fans and meeting the team staff. This has given me an added incentive to return to Osaka soon. #GambaOsaka

Gamba fans are amazing. My son was very quiet and passive in the first half of yesterday's game. After receiving a scarf from a Gamba fan, he started to participate and cheer along with the supporters. My son said it was a brilliant experience (at first, he didn't even realize I was filming him).

We had a typhoon warning in HK today, so I did Winning Eleven on the PS2 and explored the very sophisticated stadium tour mode. When reading about the halcyon days of PES on the PS2, the majority of posts reference the Master League, editing suite & gameplay. The stadium tour mode is just as good.
