In the same 20 year period, utility bills for disabled people and vulnerable folk have had a percentage increase of over 500% above inflation. That's just one extra cost. But welfare benefits have only had a 24% increase in the same timeframe. That is govt created poverty.

Have you noticed that the right-wing - Tories, Labour, Reform - and the greedy despise welfare benefits but support poverty? Very telling.

Reform has no solutions None. Only blame. And shouting. And fascism. Oh, and racism. And ableism. Oh, yes, and convicted criminals.

I've discovered today that a massive bird of prey flying right in front of the car windscreen is quite a sight. Huge!

And these days, you simply don't know what weapons people might be carrying. You dare not risk saying anything because you might get stabbed. It only takes one time. My wife does not feel safe going out anymore.

And age is no limiting factor. My wife has had verbal abuse from people young and old. There are too many horrible, awful, nasty people around.

Maybe compassion should be a four letter word. At least more people these days might use it.

Your opinion doesn't change facts or reality that others have to live with.

You don't need to judge. You don't need to have an opinion on everything. Being compassionate, kind and helpful is a choice.

Anyone can choose to be helpful instead of hateful.

People are so quick to judge or have pretty nasty opinions without knowing. It's sheer ignorance. But then to act on that with verbal or physical abuse, they are such horrible people. So little empathy. It's so draining.

It's truly shocking how people behave. There seems to be so much hateful resentment out there. Grown up people picking on vulnerable people to vent their anger and frustration, or just for fun it seems.

It's getting worse. Although nowhere near as bad as the attack a friend of ours had a few years ago, the sheer number of incidents we've had is increasing. My wife should not have to put up with this.

Please help if you can. He needs the help badly.
