It’s wet and gloomy outside, but every day as myself is a great one! Breakfast this morning at the Black Bear Diner.

Not sure if I qualify as a “hottie,” but here I am in the dress I wore today to go out to breakfast, attend an online meeting of a non profit corporation whose corporate secretary I am, and to do some shopping. Sort of boring, really, but I’m happy.

Successful medical appointments day. Traffic going home looks awful, so I will have dinner at the Sparks Nugget, where I’ll order my usual shrimp pan roast from the Oyster Bar.

So many people think that nothing exists until they personally have learned about it.

Medical appointments today. EKG and blood draw done. Endocrinologist next, but 20 miles from here. Also did some grocery shopping.

At the gate. Got there just as they started to arrange us into boarding group queues.

A hazard of having four pairs of otherwise identical earrings and putting them on in the morning while still groggy. By the time I realized it, it was too much bother to reopen my carefully packed luggage.

As my flight doesn’t board for more than 2 hours, I decided to shell out $41 for lounge access (discount for being in Premium Economy).

@cherylmorgan.bsky.social has delivered me to LHR. Bag check and check in were a breeze. Terrorization was trivial. Now we wait, but I’d rather wait than rush and panic.

I have been so fortunate. I came out at work (I’m a WFH systems analyst for a large logistics management company) recently after less than 6 months HRT and everyone on my team has been great. HR says they’ll change my records once I’ve changed my state ID, which should be real soon now.
