I went to breakfast at a local restaurant where I often eat on Sundays. On my way out, I mentioned to my regular server that I am going to Montreal next weekend, and to my surprise, she gave me a big hug. So much for people like me being a threat to women!

Apparently expressing concern over political candidates potentially falling prey to political pundits telling them to drop trans people and become Republican-lite in order to win elections means I’m disloyal or something like that.

For those wondering why trans people don't just "accept" the FWS Supreme Court ruling, a near analogy would be if Christian Concern sued for the ability to deny some services to gay people, and the end result was that gay marriage was no longer allowed and gay people were silly to think it had been.

It also imposes significant costs on businesses, though probably most won’t bother because, unlike the TERFs, trans people generally can’t afford to sue.

You don't need to protect women from trans people. You need to protect women from these people.

This year's Nevada primary election was the first time I got to vote since I got my ID corrected. The voter registration was automatically corrected. I dropped my ballot off at the polling station at the city hall today. I've not missed an election since I was first eligible in 1983.
