That first real boss fight in Silent Hill f felt like it wasn't ever going to end.

Just FYI I'm re-uploading my Silent Hill f Let's Plays in 4K, as they just appear too grainy in 1920 x 1080. This means a lot slower out put (it takes about 4-5 hours to render each video, and then another 1-2 hours uploading to YT) but they should be of much higher quality.

For once I'd like a game protagonist who's a terrible artist just so the pictures in their journal look like absolute dogshit and not something that should be hung in a gallery.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, and may be out of touch, but sometimes I worry that we are severely desensitized to violence in gaming and movies. Like, I believe I should feel something when I see a guy impaled or beheaded on screen, but now it's no different than a punch to the face.

Game #13 Completed in 2025: Deathloop! I was saving this for a Trash or Treasure video, but then finally decided to just play it normally. The trailers never appealed to me, and I thought I'd really dislike this, despite some of its stellar reviews. In the end, I thought it was "good," a solid 7/10

Game #12 Completed in 2025: Resident Evil 4 Remake! The original RE4 is one of my favorite games ever. Thus, I was hesitant to experience this one, and kept putting it off. I'm happy to say that it improves on the original in most ways, with some small caveats.

Five Night's at Freddy's is 11 years old today! This marks the first game in what is now one of the most financially successful video game franchises of all time; there are now over 10 games in the series, untolds amount of merchandise, and a commercially successful 2023 movie.

Metroid turns 39 years-old today! One of the most influential games of all time, it pioneered the "Metroidvania" genre, was one of the first games to feature a female protagonist, and was one of the first games to attract speed runners due to its open exploration and varied endings.

I would do a Let's Play of some survival horror games, but I play them weird. Use too much ammo? Reload. Get hit one too many times? Try it all again. I've done that since the original RE. I find it satisfying to get through the games, taking only a handful of hits, even if I have to try 1000 times.

Maybe it's just me, but as a veteran of the original Resjdent Evil 4, I find the Remake to be about 4x harder. That's not a bad thing per se, but it just is.
