Been off here for a while…. Had a baby, took some time, now I’m back and actively looking for my next engineering role. Turns out the job market and newborn sleep have a lot in common: chaotic and humbling. Anyway, hi again 👋

My new favorite ChatGPT trick is to ask it to explain something to me like I'm a 5-year-old.

I’m actually starting to enjoy RoR after years of working with it. I’ve been revisiting the basics with a mentor and I didn’t realize how much that affects my approach with code.

Sometimes early morning meetings aren’t so bad when my little coding nook is looking cute.

It's the most monday-iest monday of them all.

I always come back to this when the IS creeps back in.

I have a fancy google sheet for my sourdough bread. You enter what time you want a loaf to be done, then it will tell you what time you need to start the first step, followed by the time per step. I’d love to make an app one day that sends a notification when the dough is ready for the each step.

It's one of those Mondays where I am so happy to be working remotely at my silly little desk writing some silly little code.

Wild! I used to work at Academia.edu in 2013-2014 answering their customer support emails in gmail. I would also buy food for all the meetups.

Coding on the plane with no wifi, then coming back to see it locally running is wild. I thought I had it allllllllll figured out 😅
