My thoughts are with Minister Bowinn Ma, her family, and her constituency staff, after a serious incident at her office. Everyone deserves to be safe at work, including all MLAs and constituency staff. We want our very best to serve this province, and we must keep them safe while they serve.

Political violence in all forms is unacceptable. I am grateful that Minister Ma, her family, and staff are physically unharmed. We need strong action from law enforcement to seek out the perpetrators. Our society must have zero tolerance for these actions.

The tariffs are a dumb idea. They are designed to weaken the economy, hamper our industry, and worst of all, hurt Canadians from coast to coast to coast. I was happy to see in the 2025 budget protections for core services in BC, now is not the time to trim back our support system. /1
