I did it! I created a Lindenmayer system in Excel. It accepts custom symbol and value definitions, starting strings, multiple rules, and the pattern coordinates are automatically repositioned and resized during the VBA run. #CreativeCoding #Fractal #Koch #L-system #MathArt

Today I created an Excel workbook with 5 math art projects so far. After a dozen years I'm pretty fast at this. I'm considering making a tutorial to explain them all step by step, but that will be quite the endeavor. I'm not sure if I should just give away my work or try to write a book about it.

I've finally gained a fair mastery of this algorithm inspired by Briana Brownell's pattern. All lines are plotted in Excel from cell data into a xy scatter chart. VBA and cell formulas were used extensively. Coloring was done in Krita.

I believe I've finally gained a good mastery of this algorithm. I can modify and smooth out transformations and isolate reduced tile lines from truncated polygons. All lines are plotted from cell data into an Excel xy scatter chart. VBA and cell formulas were used extensively.
