A horrible day for womens football today as we witnessed an incident that had us abandon today's match against Linlithgow Rose as a player sustained a serious leg injury. We would like to wish her a speedy recovery from all players, coaches and staff at Cumbernauld United Ladies FC. 💜🩵

Our 11s are back on home turf this weekend as we welcome Linlithgow Rose Ladies to Guys Meadow in the final group stage of the Scottish Power Regional League Cup 🩵💜

This Friday the rec will be playing their final SWRFL game of the season! It's a battle for 5th place. Equal points and goal difference. The result is what determines our final position. If you're free and looking for some entertaining Friday night football, get along to Armadale Academy for 8pm 🩵💜

After 4 games of great performances without getting a result, we welcomed an in-form and unbeaten Holytown Colts to Guys Meadow. A goal from Mary Munro and a brace from Leanne Grant saw us collect a valuable win as we go into the last game of the season next Friday

We are back to Scottish Cup action this weekend where we welcome Murieston United Women to Guys Meadow in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup 2nd preliminary round We will have a donation bucket at the gate for Rainbow Valley so any amount you can donate would be much appreciated 💜🩵

Kicking off a fantastic weekend of football this Friday as our rec squad take on Mill United in our penultimate league game and our final home league game of the season in the Scottish Women's Recreational Football League It'll be a great way to kick off what is a big weekend for the club.

It was another heartbreaking Friday evening after the team gave everything they had but were unable to take any of the spoils back to Cumbernauld. A barrage of attacks until the bitter end saw the opposition throw players back in the dying minutes and were able to hold on to their win.

The rec are back in Scottish Women's Recreational Football League action on Friday against Glasgow Saints WNB. After a disappointing result last week, the team are looking for one last push until the end of the season

After an absolute outstanding performance, today's player of the match goes to our #16 Amy Allan. Amy was solid today, commanding, won duels, closed down shots outside the box and was all round outstanding. Well done Amy 🩵💜

Defeat at home after a dominant performance from the squad just wouldn't drop for us in front of goal. Well done to Cumbernauld Colts who made it difficult for us to break them down 💜🩵

Our player of the match for yesterday's Scottish Gas Scottish Cup first round was our #22 Robyn O'Neill! Robyn's all round play today in the middle of the park was excellent to watch, her persistency in chasing down players and her ability to retain possession was superb. Well done Robyn 💜🩵

A tough win on the road against a well organised and strong Edinburgh South Ladies side with goals from Frankie Fern and Robyn O'Neill in the first round of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup yesterday. On to the next round where we will face Murieston Utd at home!

Another fantastic day out yesterday with the 11s at the AWR ladies tournament. Not only that but we came away as the winners winning the final on penalties With goals from all of our new girls today and only conceding 1 all tournament it was a great start to pre-season 🩵💜
