Today's Album: Gold and Grey - Baroness This album is mostly frowned upon due to production quality. However, I find it more interesting because of it. This album is incredibly long but allows you to tackle it in 2 sessions. I love this album, and there's so much to it. Favorite song: Pale Sun

Today's Album: Watershed - Opeth This is my favorite Opeth album, which surely will ruffle some feathers among their fans. The melodies, subject matter, incredibly diverse soundscapes. The back and forth between sensitive moments and brutality is something I've never heard. Favorite song: Burden

Today's Album: Smile!:D from Porter Robinson This is totally different from the previous albums I've discussed. It's great Friday music. Begins with uplifting tracks and melodies, then slowly becomes the feeling after overcoming a dark depression. Favorite Track: Cheerleader

Today's album: Eikasia from Mestis Today is special because I get to see Animals as Leaders in concert. Javier might be my favorite part of AAL. His melodies and gently note decisions create this emotionally complex album. Favorite Track: Media Noche 9/10

Today's Album is The Joy of Motion from Animals as Leaders. The balance between crystal clean tones and heavy overdriven guitars is about as perfect as it gets. Favorite Track: Nephele 9/10

Some of the ugliest music I've ever heard, and I mean that as a compliment. The New World is about as haunting as it gets. This album gets a 9/10.
