I get the backlash against data centers, especially putting them in the desert, but let’s keep perspective. Putting cattle ranches, alfalfa farms, or growing almonds or rice in the desert is absurd as well. And then there all the golf courses, swimming pools, people with green lawns, etc.

Just as today is nothing like the past, the (near) future will be nothing like today. A mindset I believe escapes people in our quickening news cycles.
