It's real tough to look at whatever SCOTUS is doing here with birthright citizenship and their complete disregard for the plain text of the 15th amendment re: the VRA and not conclude they want to completely ignore the Reconstruction Amendments. A lawless a rogue court.

This could probably be done with simple legislation. Article 3 says almost nothing about how the Supreme Court operates. It mentions that a chief justice will exist, but that’s about it. There are essentially no constitutional rules about how they hear or decide cases.

Texas clearly did a racial gerrymander, which is illegal. A district court found that Texas did a racial gerrymander, rejecting the new map because it is illegal. But the Supreme Court reversed it. Because? Must assume the gerrymanderers were acting in good faith (despite the evidence otherwise).
