Founder of Dyspraxia Magazine Writer | Journalist| Advocate I find myself at a lot of music events 🎶
I've been doing a course on extremism and radicalisation of young boys and men. It focused on the recruitment in incel and anti-feminism spaces. It's shocking but also not surprising, it's certainly not something I've been unaware of. It's a very dangerous movement that definitely needs addressing

My neighbour thinks she owns all of the disabled spaces on our street and despises that I have a blue badge and harasses me and my neighbours for (rightfully) using them. I got another note on my car yesterday about it. To clarify there's more spaces than she uses. But won't let anyone use them

Had my B12 injection today and I bled everywhere. Tip: don't roll up a long shirt for an injection, slip your arm out, otherwise I just builds pressure and you'll bleed everywhere 🤣🩸🤘🏼

I'm reading an article "the truth about ADHD and autism: how many people have it, what causes it, and why are diagnoses soaring?" I have only just started reading it and so far it seems positive AND it includes Dyspraxia as one of the most common neurodivergent conditions. We love

Finally deactivated my twitter account. Tired of getting daily notifications about trump or Elon even though I didn't follow them or care to see anything about them.

That's a wrap, I have officially done my last festival and gigs for the year. I have met so many wonderful bands and crew members this year. Meeting so many different people and hearing their different stories and what motivates them to create is a true blessing.

The sensory hell of having to go shopping this weekend 😭 Thankfully the music I listen to is so heavy it blocks out and counteracts all the noise of other people well.

Stage graveyard. Everyone always thinks backstage is a stylish place where crew and bands get to hang out but it's mostly piles of boxes and wires and tables packed with food and water. Best part is the vibes.

Being Neurodivergent makes turning my home into my safe space even more important. Filling it with colours and items that bring me comfort and a sense of safety. I didn't feel safe two years ago when my ex partner kept entering my home in the middle of the night. Despite me begging them to stop.

I had a shower thought last week about planning a holiday that's basically a meet up for Dyspraxic people. In theory it's a great idea. Everyone gets a holiday and to meet other people with Dyspraxia. It would be a jolly good time. In practice I know it would be one huge health and safety sheet.

I've got so many live shows lined up for next year already, I'm so excited for them. I'm also working at another festival this weekend. 🥳 This year I've done some incredible gigs and festivals, met some incredible people and made some great memories.

Dyspraxia Research Deep Dive Findings: Big pet peeve of mine is seeing new publications etc quote that Dyspraxia is more common in boys. Because that's just not true and we've known this for quite some time now. These publications etc are quoting research from early 2000's to back that idea.
