Nosferatu is a beautiful and haunting film that, despite leaning heavily on well-established vampire ropes, feels like an original take on vampire myths. It’s not Robert Eggers’s best movie (that would be The Witch), but it’s still a master class in horror.

Why is Magic: The Gathering an awesome game? Because after Aragorn, son of Arathorn, falls in battle, I can pick up Anduril and hand it to a possum and say “Go hit that person with this.”

Just started playing Space Marine II. Like it so far. Very visceral and intense even on lowest difficulty. Also just found out about Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. Very excited.

Played a fun new game with wife and friends tonight. Casting Shadows by Unstable Games is part deck building, part tactical movement, and part resource management. Cute animals who can turn into shadow monsters sling magic spells at each other. Last one standing wins. Highly recommended.

I have no idea what I’m doing. I just write the pretty words on the screen and hope something coherent comes out the other end.
