Currently watching Series 8 of Doctor Who and he really is just an arsehole at this point. I dislike how Clara just simps back to him at the end of Mummy on the Orient Express. Roll on Series 10 when he finally becomes The Doctor.

In 1993 I watched Jurassic Park in the cinema and behind my hands as I found the kitchen scene so tense and scary. Later that year I watched Alien and thought it was the best thing ever! Not been scared from a film since. What happened to 13 year old me that year? 😂

Told Customer Services that I didn’t think their fashion idea would catch on when I walked into Merthyr Asda today.

This was fun, silly, misogynistic with ridiculously over the top music at times.

I’ve been busy working on my photo panel for my sort of qualification recently, but I need a break, so here’s a scene from Half Life 2 Episode 1.

Alien Earth - SPOILERS!!!! Started off with such aplomb, then settled into a fairly boring time in the labs. The Maginot episode was excellent and whilst the story has been intruiging, it ended on such a flat note and anti-climax, especially as it didn't actually end, it just stopped.

Spent the day reorganising my Lego as I’d bought a new set of drawers. Need a shelf to put it on and my area will be pretty much finished for the time being. Couldn’t think of what to label one drawer, so I did the closest thing I could think of 😂

Was last nights Strange New Worlds episode a remake of Enemy Mine and TNG’s The Enemy? Yes. Did I enjoy it as a well written and crafted episode? Absolutely!

Popped into the Lego shop as I was in Cardiff today, bought one of the pick 'n' mix boxes at £9, just worked out that I crammed it with almost £20 worth of pieces, bargain! Also got a passport, I think I'm fully down the rabbit hole at this point. 😂

I’m doing a sort of qualification in photography and making a panel of images. I’ve just had my first feedback session with my mentor and it went really well. Some excellent feedback and constructive criticism.

I’ve been working on a panel of photos so I can get my Associate of the Welsh Photographic Federation and I’m starting to get subject fatigue. It’s inspired by the game Alien Isolation. They all look similar and after I’ve done my final 2 of my assembly I think I need a change for a little while.

I’m in the pub for a much needed pint. Scrolling socials and half listening to the dumb old men boast how they don’t know how to use a hoover. Sigh.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds possible spoilers!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . Loved the bookends, that parody performance was amazing. Meh middle bit which is just a rehash of TNG/DS9?VOY stories. Hate the new romance, he's not Kirk bonking his way around the universe! Grr.

Sorry but I found 28 Years Later a bit meh. Lacked the visceral energy of the original and I didn’t find it remotely scary. Had a fair amount of poor cgi too which was most off putting.

Just watched this and now I’m an emotional wreck. 😭

According to some old woman sat near me in this hospital waiting room, all the migrants coming in the boats are stupid and bad people just coming here to commit crime. I am shaking with anger, she got called in before I could say anything.

For 7 years I’ve been my wife’s fulltime carer and I’m quite content with our life. However there’s 2 things I hate about it. 1. It’s relentless. I never get a break for more than a few hours. 2. Seeing her in physical/emotional pain. I’m a sticky plaster and little more. #carersbluesky
