We found that the Yukon Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) is subject to ATIPPA and recommended that the Department of Health and Social Services (HSS) re-process an access request to include any responsive records held by the CMOH. HSS accepted our recommendations.

We concluded that the Department of Environment did not have the authority to withhold records about the Victoria Gold heap leach facility failure and recommended the records be released to the complainant. They are continuing to withhold 14 of the 33 pages. yukonaccountability.ca/ipc/reports
