Went to the Mandalorian movie with my son. Now, I could sit here and poke holes on the story, plot and everything else. But… my son who is 12, absolutely loved it. So the movie did its job. Sometimes we just have to switch off our brains.

I set up (grabbed the username) an account for my music on IG. And holly fuck, has the ads there gone ballistic. Last I left it, was an ad every 3 posts. Now its an ad after every post and sometimes 2 ads in a row. How do people deal with it.

Would love to get back to a studio space. Nice to have a home office, but I miss having a creative space where I can invite anyone over, even for a 30min portrait shoot. Can’t justify a monthly lease and hiring by the hour is ridiculous-unless you have a paying client that covers the crazy cost

Back in the day. I’d test lighting on myself. Or simply get bored at the studio and mess about. I did rip a button from my fav leather jacket in these shots. was not happy.

Raining day. Perfect day to catch up on some editing. Man, I know as a photographer, if you don’t keep on top of your edits, you’ll get snowed under fast and then struggle to get back on top. Know many photographers that have done shoots they never finished editing.

2015 I was shooting almost every day. 10k followers on IG. DMs full of models wanting to collaborate. The old IG really did revolutionise how we networked. So grateful for all the amazing people I got to work with. I’m no longer in my 40s, and I hate IG. But the urge to create is still there.
