Ah Christmas. The one time of year I can lay in bed at 9.30am and hear absolutely nothing outside. No shops, no cars, no pedestrians. Just silence as if I am the last person in the world.

A big issue in my life is that I have been floating between three different friendship groups and hobbies and as a result, intend to neglect all three of them. So I am currently trying to debate picking a community and going all in on it and reinforcing those bridges and burning the others

Went into the town centre for some blood tests and had to leave the shopping centre because of the crowds and the anxiety that it gave me. How the heck am I going to try and do a con this year if I can't cope with a quarter to half full shopping centre?

One of my guilty pleasures is watching suit making videos on YouTube and seeing all the wonderful suits they make. One day I will be rich and important enough to get a suit tailored for me from scratch rather than buying from the shelf.

2024 is coming to a close and I have been using this month to reflect a bit. It has been a massive year which looking back on, hasn't been one of my best. I started a new job which has had its challenges. But ultimately my declining health has been the dominating thing this year. 🧵

So this time of year is usually when my Imposter Syndrome gets its strongest and I tend to fall into a depressive slump. It's that time of year where everyone starts reviewing their year and celebrating achievements. Which is great and they should do that.

I finally think the back of the flu has finally gone. I seem to have my voice back, and I am not blowing my nose every ten seconds. Just got to shift this chesty cough that is lingering and then I will be golden again. Unless I pick it up again. Stranger things have happened.

All of November I have had this flu that while it was really bad at the start of the month, eased off, only to come back with a vengeance this week. Work has been stressful as anything this week. So maybe that is what has caused it to come back, but this morning was the worst it has been for a bit

I feel like I need a project for December... I might try and make a one page TTRPG. I have a few ideas rattling around, be interesting to see if I could actually design something

I can't be the only the only one who looks at the VtM Camarilla Symbol and whose mind defaults to: Crash Bandicoot Relic. Right.... Right....

So got my test results back. The good news is it came back all clear. So no cancers or bone marrow issues to worry about. The downside is that we are back at square one as to what is causing the blood issues. Gotta wait until New Year now to see what we do next.

Getting to 24 hours until my test results come back and now I am really nervous. I didn't think I would be. I had mentally prepared myself for the worst, so anything less is a seen as a blessing. I just don't know why blood tests take 6 weeks. Well at least this tomorrow I should have some answers.

This morning was the first time I woke up and left the house feeling cold. I don't normally feel the chill at all...

The past 4 days have been a bit of a blur for me. I don't fully teemmger what happened Thursday night or Friday morning and the days after I have just been recovering and getting my bearings back. Still not all there, but can trying to get back into this week.

I have spent all day trying to process what has happened on the other side of the Atlantic. It breaks my heart that so many people can happily ignore the threat these people pose. Not just to the LGBTQIA+ community, but to women and the working class too. Stay safe. Stay strong <3
