Some of last nights lightning strikes Cardiff was eventually hit with multiple storms, multiple storms occurred across the SE and SW, but often didn’t survive until land. I’d rate the forecast 8/10, lightning IN land occurred mostly in the highest risk zone.

Snow showers are now passing into North West England, these may be sleety in nature, especially on lower ground/near sea. These will travel southern and could travel as far as Northern London, but this is isn’t very likely. North/Mid Wales will also be affected by these wintry showers.
