My cat has been sleeping in the chair along side me as I work. Anytime I get up (bathroom, coffee, etc), she follows me around, crying. Poor girl is terrified I'll leave her again for two weeks.

Listening to K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack on the plane because it's comforting. Sad I can't sing along on the plane though. I can hit those notes (choral soprano ftw) but people don't need to hear that.

I am in the air. Did I want to scream and cry the entire take off? Yes. Did I almost break my husband's and stepchilds hand squeezing? Yes. Have I been on over 35 flights and feel the same way each time? Also yes. Every. Fucking. Time.

I am on the plane. I will be watching the ads for 30 minutes of wifi at a time and screaming into the digital void as I fly. Thanks for being here with me!

Flight is delayed due to late arrival of other flight. There's a storm expected to started about 4 hours once we get home. So I'm expecting a bumpy ride. We're just delaying my anxiety at this point.
