I spent a week there as a child when my dad was invited to deliver lectures at the U of PR. I think PR inspired his life-long interest in things Hispanophone. I thought PR was lovely and nothing has dissuaded me from that since. So viva Puerto Rico, and statehood or independence, as they desire!

Each time all typos are successfully edited from a book, the entire universe is immediately replaced with a new universe containing a version of the book that has at least one typo.

I mostly buy books in the academic penumbra these days, which are significantly larger, but I'm sad to see the old format go. I've got dozens of feet of bookshelf full of them, constituting the bulk of my SFF collection. Terrible format for cookbooks, but great for portability and reading.
