I personally count this as vent art in a way. Doodled after Megaplex on my new phone so I still have to mess with the pen settings. So busy and behind on messages.

Me and hubby got some badges at Megaplex from @tacks.bsky.social ! Despite having gone to multiple cons, commissioning art, and being part of the fandom for many years, I've actually never gotten a badge before this! So this was actually a super special moment for me. ♥

Finals done, now I can have my summer back and doodle time. Officially free from chemistry now too, what a liberating feeling. Never taking hard summer courses again, it's just not worth the stress.

Where does everyone fit time for art? When studying gets heavy, in between all the other responsibilities, I feel like I sketch at a snail's pace and the longer I stay away from a piece, the harder it is to pick up where I left off when the idea is less fresh in my head.

Drawing took a long time to be something enjoyable for me. I forced myself to keep doing it to satisfy the desire to create. Sharing it is a new experience that kind of makes it feel more fun. So of course when I actually wanna draw all the time now, life makes sure I'm always busy. 🥲

I have this memory of eating a yellow Airhead from the 90s. My brain remembers it being called "Citrus Circus" but that could be wrong. I cannot find ANY info online about this flavor or a similar one, and all the ones I've seen are newer ones from not as long ago. The pain is real. 😭

I love the sandhill cranes here in FL. They're like little dinosaurs, especially with the call they make when they're flying. Maybe I'll doodle them sometime.
