The new Assassin’s Creed Remaster is an example of I think how so much of Ubisoft has lost its way. There’s a ton of edges sanded off, it feels garish like a theme park ride now. There’s combat is faster but less intricate, you have so many less options in controls. I love IV but this one loses me.

Cracking out the 4K for this one. One of my favorites ever. Impeccable mood, cast of thousands (Gary Oldman! Benedict Cumberbatch! Colin Firth!), amazing mood and music. Twisting plot adapted the best you can to a movie too. Love it!

I turned off all the animations for the iPhone frosted glass and not only is my phone not heating up it feels so Much Snappier it’s not even funny.

Another little kit done! A nice fall scene. I like the dioramas, it’s fun to see them come together after the base gets built and fall is my favorite season.

It actually feels so nice to lay in bed. No alarm. I’m not going ANYWHERE today. Tomorrow? Sure. Today? Just sitting here.

ALSO my shirts came in. The Parks one is mine. I just liked the design and color, it’s for around the apartment. The Montauk one is for my friend. When I go to visit him in July I keep joking we’re gonna go the 5 hours from his house to Montauk on the train. Worth it!

This one was actually a ton of fun to build. Lots of moments where you go “oh wow, THAT’S how it works!”

Coworker asked me why his phone battery was so bad and I showed him the iPhone menu where it shows battery health and I kid you not it said like DANGER on it

It’s genuinely too hot for ANYTHING. I hope everyone on the entire eastern half of the US stays cool.

Last day of work this week let’s go! Tomorrow I’m gonna go buy new shorts and some shirts, I’ve lost too much weight so nothing fits right any more.

SHOE REFUND UPDATE: I had to email the company and they STILL tried to get me to take credit. But the refund is secured.

Waiting on a SIZABLE shoe refund with bated breath hoping I don’t have to charge these guys back. Plus another two pairs need to go back. I think I finally found a new pair and style but it was a long road.

They changed the recipe on the fiber bars I get and they’re way worse now. RIP.

Really nothing worse than someone who ALWAYS is negative? Right? Like who never has anything good to say about anything, just dour?

We are finally shelfed. These are just the books that look nicest out here and aren’t too heavy. Plus my pins from conventions.

Still waiting on this refund from a shoe return. In what universe do returns take 15 business days? Crazy number!

I DID IT. That little gold IMMORTAL seal there is an in-game title. It wasn’t super-hard but I feel so happy I get one piece of Destiny merch for an in-game achievement. I did it!

Feeling the Destiny burnout hitting now that I’m clearing the easier challenges. The rest are a long grind. Today was bad especially, too much multiplayer for my liking. Need to focus on collectibles.

I’m going for this shirt in Destiny 2, you do these in-game challenges and can buy it from the store. It’s crazy, I played this for so much time, hundreds of hours and even though the shirt is kinda boring it’s something to remember the game by. I’m gonna miss it, really.

Why did I stay up so late… I haven’t done that since I was in college.

I wish I had a Destiny clan, just for the raids. It’s so tough trying to find a spot where you fit in and is chill enough to let a new guy slide in.

As a certified Legion of Super-Heroes comics freak, I WILL be reading the new issues. I kinda like that they’re branching out to more “alien” designs rather than retreading the old 50s pastiches.

This is cute. I’ve been the Böcklin painting for so long online it really does feel like me, weirdly enough.
