Just finished working on a Coleman 4000 generator. 4 screws w/3/8 inch heads hold up the rope pull. After taking it off, the shutoff switch has a clip connector attached to the housing, so I pulled it off. Mice had gotten into the generator again so I had to clean out the debris.

After having a rope break on the pull starter of my generator, I worked on a solution. I removed the pull starter ( 3 screws) and saw saw the nut inside, in this case a 19mm. So I got a 19mm socket, socket adapter, and a cordless drill. In less than a second the generator fired up.
