This is exactly right. Irreversible damage is basically guaranteed as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision. Let’s not play dumb: The only reasonable assumption is that the rightwing majority knows this - and it’s precisely what they want. They are aggressively aligned with the Trumpist regime.
