The section on the Declaration of Independence is the best in the Burns doc so far. I'd argue it's because he give it time to be explored. Would have liked to have seen more of this throughout #HATM

There is some goodness in Burns look at independence, esp. on its importance for foreign alliances... But still seems like there's not enough build up for such an important moment. Others themes like oaths, religion, foreign soliders, etc. have been mentioned, but they to be linked. #hatm
