Sharing noms.club a little early. Every year a build an Oscar pool website for friends/family as an excuse to speed-run new tech/patterns. Still working on it, but foundations are there and you can start making picks before joining a pool.

So this looks like the same experience I've been sharing recently, but it's running against an actual local server instead of service worker. It's basically the same server with adapters do db (indexdb vs sqlite).

You have to assume all context you give an AI company is being sold to brokers. Your personal finance data. Every medical question you ask. Your notes. Now how will all of that be used by corporations and government subjugating you? Hopefully this year we got more practical local options.

As a parent I've been ahead of the trend ditching music recommendation algorithms. All recommendations are useless to me.

As much as I like local-first I think browsers are not the best place to build your local-first apps. Lots of ice skating up hill vs shipping a native app that can readily access the file system and avoid any browser limitations.
