I still can’t believe I got a one year scholarship from my film school. Some years ago, I never thought I’d even get accepted there.

Unplanned working as unit manager on a uni film production next week for two days.

Whenever I log in here, I feel so much more comfortable.

Anyways I love films with my whole heart.

I’m in such a mental hole right now and end up overthinking everything I say and make it even worse then.

I wanna love and be loved not gonna lie.

This place in Twin Peaks is so iconic that whenever I see a room with red curtains I immediately think of Twin Peaks.

I wish I didn’t binge the last season of Twin Peaks. Now I regret it because there is no show out there with a similar vibe.

We just found out that the first film I produced at film school has been selected for its first film festival!

I had a great encounter with one of our professors today. She asked me how I’m doing and then added that she’s always happy to see me because she remembers my entry exam at the film school where she was in the committee and wanted me to get in. She said I belong here and it made me tear up a lil 🥲

I’m so lazy lately and just love spending time in bed.

When I was at the German premiere of Sound Of Falling, the director said we should feel what’s happening before we try to understand it. That’s a phrase we should often keep in mind when starting a film or series.

Twin Peaks is so weird (in a good way). We need more stuff like that, but I fear if others dropped something similar nobody would love it cuz it’s not David Lynch.

finally watching the final season of twin peaks feels so good.

Returning to work after a four weeks break tomorrow and I’m not motivated.

What I love about film festivals is that it’s normalised there to watch films alone.

Film festival organisation is always so chaotic. I hope I will manage to watch maybe around 40 films this year. Usually I watch more but I know I’ll struggle with it this year.

If we get the Investitionsverpflichtung, it would mean producers get their licensed content back after some years. So maybe with a good contract shows like 1899 might have a potential future then.

We had a really interesting lecture today about producing for the German market. It reminded me of how little everyone knows about the structural issues when series get cancelled.

Margot Friedländer’s passing is such a loss for our world. We all need to keep her message alive and make her and all the holocaust survivors proud. The way we’re treating humans right now and ignore all the pain people stuffer is just history repeating itself. We need to find a way out.

Currently learning stuff about the German film in the 70s and we used Fassbinder as example because our professor didn’t want use to learn about an alumni from our uni (Wim Wenders).
